It's an effect similar to the popular "lightbox" effect.

This version is based on Prototype 1.6.0.2 and Scriptaculous 1.8. We've combined the two into one file to keep the total file size under 90KB.

I just upgraded from version 2 to version 3. I'm running Image Handler 2 and Hover box 2 worked fine with it, however once I installed HB3 the images no longer zoom. I went over my install closely and I don't think I missed anything.

The lightbox works fine for the product info image. Nice rounded corners in FF, but the corners are gone when viewed with IE 7. Click on the link in my Sig and check any of the product info displays using IE and U will see what I mean. Also u will notice nothing zooms when the courser is placed over an image. I had it set to do it on med and lg images, but changed it so it would do it on all and it just wont zoom for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Checked your site in both IE6 and IE7 the rounded corners appear in both.

As for as the hover working from IH, your page loads don't show stylesheet_imagehover.css, so check to verify that you didn't delete the files necessary for IH hover to work.

And only the Small Images in Image Handler have every zoomed, in which the small Image dimensions must match your image settings.

Try clearing your browser's cache ... shut-down and restart it as well.

My hover isn't hovering? I also sent pay pal for services and have not heard anything yet on how to obtain the services I paid for.

Yup, I fixed the problem by putting the image handler file includes/templates/template_default/jscript/jscript_imagehover.js into my own template as well.

I am really sorry to ask on here but I saw Hover Box 3 demo and it looks fantastic so I want to get some information straight!

What is the difference between Hover Box 3, Image handler 2, and Light Box? I have only used IH2 and seen a demo of HB3 and I have to say, I am biased towards the HB3 style. What are the key differences? Can they function together?

HoverBox3 and Image Handler2 are two different modules but they can work together beautifully. IH2 allows hover zoom-in while HB3 works like a pop-up window but darkens the background. With the latest version, you can even play all the additional images. I think LightBox is similar to HoverBox. Hope this is helpful.

So if I have IH2 people can see a zoom while browsing and HB3 will let them see a pop-up like image if they click?

Yes, the HB3 mainly works in the product info page when people click. IH2 works as a hover effect for small images.

I'm sorry, but being new to ZEN-cart, I find the uploading/installation instructions vague :blink::

Upload the files in their existing structure, replacing YOUR_TEMPLATE_FOLDER with your currently active template folder.

There are many folders and files in the unzipped folder. What gets uploaded and to where. I am assuming the the root of the store? replacing the template folde with the currently active template folder escapes me :huh:. Can you please clarify this. I am just setting this up on a test site on my local system using XAMPP, etc, and that is all good. Just need some assistance at putting things where they should be.

The folders entitled, "YOUR_TEMPLATE_FOLDER" have contents that should go into your template folder that exists within your current Zen installation.

The structure of the download is in the proper structure for installation into Zen.

The folder of files for installation into zen is "files-for-zen-cart"

Once you've uploaded the files, you'll need to install the SQL.

Has anyone got Hoverbox working with the Zenmagick template system? I am unclear on where to put Hoverbox's files for that.
