how to have different two diff table rates?

thanks ajeh... you're the greatest. got it working. i had overwritten a file. i deleted all and then uploaded fresh.


now during the checkout process a customer can choose from the parcel rate or the priority rate.

But how/where do I change the titles from "Table Rate" to "Parcel Post Table Rate" and from "Table Rate" to "USPS Priority Table Rate?"

And also how/where do I change the text "Best Way?"

You might peek at the Language defines for those two modules ...

/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

You can put your changes into your templates and overrides directory:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/your_template_dir

so you do not lose your changes on the table.php file ...

I'm using Table Rates and I was hoping to be able to add a second table for overnight delivery. But from the discussion on the first page, it sounds like you need to be fairly adept at this to add another table -- I didn't even understand most of what the two people were saying. Does that mean there is no easy way to add another table?

Hi. I just did this and it works perfectly. It took about a 1/2 hour to modify all of the MODULE_TABLE_XXXX Files, but when I finally got them all it was exactly as I had hoped. I now have a table rate for ground shipping, and one for expedited shipping.

In addition I was able to change the "Table Rate" and "Best Way" text to read Ground and Expedited. Those titles can be found in includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/table.php.

Thanks for your reply. But I still did not understand what you mean? When you have 2 tables , how do you apply one for one category and another for another category of products.

I am little bit confused about how you did it? Can you please explain, it will help me a lot.
