Windows ZC Manager Application

Hi All,

I've been running my shop quite successfully for nearly 2 years now, and during that time I've learned a thing or two (ok many more than just two) about Zen Cart. I'm also a Windows programmer that has always looked for a programmatic solution to my problems.

I know a lot of people are interested an Ajax admin system, or some other more intuitive admin interface for ZC. Over the last two years, I've built, used, and extended a native windows application for managing my shopping cart. I've put approximately 2000 hours of work into this application. It's connects directly to the MySQL Server, and allows me to directly administer my shopping cart in a VERY simple manner.

It's a great tool for everything related to the management of my cart.

There are a lot more useful tools in it than mentioned here, and would like to get community opinion on whether or not this is a tool that anyone would be interested in. I'm considering polishing it up into a small $10 - $20 shareware app. I really appreciate you all and this community, and would be overjoyed to be able to send 20% of the net profit into donations to the ZC team, as they have built a great product.

You might find more acceptance by offering what you have developed so far for free, since ZC is free, and charge for customization and instruction, etc. That seems to be a winning solution in the open source world.

Having said that, if you have a site where there is a functioning demo for folks to give it a good test spin, or a trial version, I don't see that $10 to $20 would be too bad if it's a great time saver and is an easier interface to use, plus it seems packed with a ton of very useful features! Especially if your giving back to the devs. I bet you'd sell a bunch of copies, it sounds really good!
