Media manager does not 'see' products

I am helping to configure a friends music download site www.myfanwymusic.co.uk.

I have set up a number of categories Pop, rock etc with the various products inside. I want to add a preview for each track and understand the process for using media manager to create a 'media collection' and assign this to the product. The problem I have is that when I click on 'assign to product' in media manager the drop down list only shows my categories and not the products within.

I have used a workaround which involves moving the product outside the category, adding the preview clip then moving it back into the category but this is hugely time consuming and I suspect not necessary becuase I am probably doing something wrong!

This is the first Zencart site I have worked on and just wonder if there is something obvious I am doing/not doing when setting up categories and products.

Any help much appreciated.

I'm trying to create the audio playlists/sample clips feature within 1.3.8 and *thought* I'd followed the tutorial to set up the Media Manager collection... However, when I try to assign this collection to a product, I get the following:

You can assign and remove this Media Collection for products using the forms below.
(Music Downloads)

No Products in this category


I have several products in this category - what am I missing?!

Same problem here....

I followed the directions explicitly in the facts and tutorials, https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=119.

Products are in the catalog but media manager will not recognize them.

Is anyone working on this or has a fix been discovered?
