Here is a snippet of my excel file. I have all of the paths correct and the images online in path shown. They do not show up.. and they do not appear on the products page.

Hmmm.. thats odd. All my headers it exports are in same order.

Any ideas?


It gave me a 2nd zinger now. I tried to import again and it duplicated all of my descriptions.


He is also what I noticed on the products:

they all have the right info in the product edit screens.

Here is what I have came up with so far Misty.

1: I Uploaded the file with the image paths added, but the images were not on the site at the time of upload.

2: This caused a duplicate description.

3. The paths to images were correct, but there is no check in the program to ensure they are in fact in the directory.

4: After adding the image in the product editor, the double description is no longer there and image appears.

I think that the problems were created by not having the files in the directory first. Now, even with images in directory, I did upload of ez populate file and still the same results.

Do you know if all products have to be in upload file.. or, can only the changes or new products be added?

no idea what order csv/excel file should be in.
However, you should be able to download a sample
file from products you have already installed. This file
will give correct headers required.

I would think they need to be the same, as the data has a certain way to be written. I am using the DATA TEMPLATES file and choosing Extentend Store and Store as template choices.


In both files the headers are in the order I posted. I guess we will have to wait for Langer...(thinking this may take awhile )

If you are using sample file, created by Easy Populate from your existing
category/product entries, then should work correctly IF you adhere to same formula..
Sorry cannot offer further advice at this stage.
