Berserker,
If this is installed at the root of your hosting account at say:
abc.com and you want to now have it be cde.com
Then you should also request your host to change your account tp cde.com

Zen-Venom Get Bitten
Hello kobra,
My webhost is ready to change my account to the new domain name. They are just waiting for my confirmation.
Im just worried about my payment gateway. So I do not have to do anything with my payment gateway right?
Depending on which one and the configuration details either yes or no.
If part of the configuration is that the account is registered to abc.com and you change this then yes. Others - You enter a code and can use for several shops.

thanks for the reply. i contacted our payment gateway provider and know what to do there now.
just wondering, what will happen to my ssl? will i have to re-install it?
Just want to add, can I have my new domain as an addon and then have my zen-cart from old domain point to the new domain? Or will that not work?

Private SSL Certs are issued to a specific domain name and are not portable -
A new Certificate will need to be obtained
As an add-on domain is not actually a seperate discreet domain but a masked sub-domain An SSl Cert issued to the domain name will throw an error with an Add-On domain
Would be better all around to have your main account domain changed to the new domain and add the old domain as a parked domain that will automatically redirectJust want to add, can I have my new domain as an addon and then have my zen-cart from old domain point to the new domain?

Ok, so I will buy a new SSL for the new domain and have it installed. Do I need to change anything in Zen-Cart for the new SSL to work or will it work just like the old one did?
You'll just set the HTTPS address in your configure.php files to the correct new details.
