Custom Template Compatibility

I'm looking into buying a custom template from Blue Gel Media (www.bluegelmedia.com) but I'm not sure if it will be compatible with 1.3.8. On the templates purchase page it says in bold letters Zen Cart 1.3.6 only. I called them and the person I talked to one the phone said he doesn't know of any reason why it wouldn't work with the current version of Zen Cart and they mainly put that disclaimer there so people don't use their templates for pre 1.3.6 versions of Zen Cart.

Does anyone know any reason this template wouldn't be compatible with the current version of ZC?

Those templates look a lot like template monster templates so You might want to check this thread before making a purchase

Ok...you can disregard my question :) I don't need those kinds of problems right now, thank you very much for the reply. The templates just look so amazing, are there any reputable template developers with comparable looks out there?
