    Default Space between Nav Bar & Content

    hey all~

    i have too much space between-you guessed it-my nav bar and content. i know where to change the space between the header & nav, but before i go merrily screwing things up on my own, can someone please tell me where in the css sheet i go, and what to do? this occurs on all my pages when viewed in IE, i have not check firefox.

    thank you

    Cat

    in your stylesheet look in line 198

    #logoWrapper{
    background-image: url(../images/header_bg.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    height:75px;
    }
    and change the height to 40px or less depending on how up you want to have it...

    I would suggest to have the breadcrumb in line with with the left box (BUT this is only my personal view, of course you can leave it), you will find it in line 323

    [QUOTE][ #navBreadCrumb {
    padding: 0.5em 0.5em;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    font-size: 0.95em;
    font-weight: bold;
    margin: 0em;
    }/QUOTE]

    change it to

    padding: 1.5em 0.5em;

    font-weight: bold;

    Thanks Kruna! I changed the logo wrapper to 50px height, as I did not want it to appear too crowded at the top. And I took your suggestion and aligned the nav BC to the top box...nice clean up thanx!

    Is there something else I should be changing tho? Still a problem between the nav bar and content, especially on the information pages, for ex:

    Idea or Suggestion Re: Space between Nav Bar & Content

    I figured it out...I had turned off the H1 so it left a lot of space. I turned it back on and now it looks much better.
