Creating kits of existing products

Hello,

I'm just setting up a new site, and I had a question about offering a kit.

Say I have four different screwdrivers for sale. I currently have it set up where each screwdriver is listed seperately and I wish to keep it that way. However, I also want to offer a kit with all four screwdrivers included. The quantity in stock should show the lowest quantity in stock of the four, and when one kit is purchased, the quantity of each of the four screwdrivers could go down by one.

I know I could just make another product and manually edit the stock of each part when one kit is bought, but it would be great if it would do it automatically.

Any tips?

This feature is not currently available in Zen Cart. You would have to do custom coding for it, with a good knowledge of PHP, mySQL and the ZC structure.

Does anybody know if it is now possible? I checked the better together idea, but it only allows combining 2 products together. I need to combine up to 5 products together.
