Back to old design.. trying to adjust center pane

Underneath the icons in the center, I have featured and monthly specials showing up. Not sure why or how to pull those off, but I'd like some help in removing those.

Also, this will sound silly - but, the page title still shows as "Zen Cart", THe Art of E-Commerce". I've looked everywhere, how do I remove that and place my own text?
