    Default Sale Maker Problem

Hi -- I set up a Sale under Sale Maker for 40% off MSRP on a select set of products. It shows up on the product but when you add to shopping cart it does not discount it properly.

    Deduction: 40.0000 Percent
    Pricerange: $0.00 to $0.00
Specials Condition: Ignore Specials Price - Apply to Product Price and Replace Special

    Starts: Immediately
    Expires: Never

Any Ideas ? Here is a link to a product

Browse your products table via phpMyAdmin ...

Do they each have a master_categories_id and is that the Category that you put on Sale?

    Go to Admin/Catalog/CategoriesProducts

Click on the category (and, if necessary, the subcategory) you applied the sale to.

Click on a product that should be on sale.

The very top line says "Product Master Category" If only one category is listed, that category should be the one you put on sale. If you have linked products to different categories, there will be a dropdown menu listing all the different categories. You need to select that category you applied the sale to, then click "Preview" and then "Update" and the sale should be applied.

If that master category isn't the problem, I'm totally useless. ;)
