How to remove category links from main page?

well I am not quite sure, I am no pro and no programmer or designer, but what madw me llok at was the link you gave...is this link kind of EZ-pages?
because

does not exist in zencart, i tried to leave the 1 like

http://gleefulthings.com/shop/index....page=subscribe

and it shows me the newsletter subscribe.
So you may have given a wrong link?

As far as I remember sometimes if a page isnt found (due to wrong link or else) it shoes page not found with Sitemap

I may be completely wrong, but may be a hint...
