Give Custom Metas & Description to Manufacturers

Hello all,
Well from the looks of it there is NO mod out there to do this.
Im no coder but I gave it a bash trying to follow kurios directions for about the same thing.

Didn't get it!

If you know how or have an idea about how to accomplish the following I would love to hear about it!

If a visitor clicks a manufacturer they are taken to a page titled "manufacturers name :" . That part is Great! I would like for that same page to display a description that I write for it along with custom metas. Meta Title, Meta Keywords and Meta Description.

The only alternative method I have found was to create a new category with the manufacturers name and load it with all the description and metas needed. This will look fine if you're using the categories dressing mod. This could be done for ALL manufacturers and then segregate the new cats to their own area in the cat box with their own header image to give further separation from the other categories.

Then using EZPopulate take a store download and a category download.
Recreate all categories from the store into the new manufacturers named category. Using the store download, remove all products from other manufacturers. Now change the destination path to include the manufacturers category name just created and save this as a relevant name.

Once this is done you may inject the DB with all of the products for that manu in that manus category! Simple yes but a big No No for the bots. Especially Google.

This would be considered "duplicate content" and you get a red check mark next to your name for this!

The best way would be a mod to add the description and metas via admin to the maufacturers.
