Upgrading UPS to 1.3.8

I currently have 1.37 running on our website. I have learned that in order to use Worldwide Saver i will need to upgrade to 1.3.8. There are SO MANY customizations made to this site (intergration and export to our inhouse inventory system, custom modules, etc.) that i am terrified to upgrade the entire cart to 1.3.8. I would like to know if there is a way that i can just upgrade the UPS module besides the whole cart.

I have looked at the 1.3.8 files (which i have running on another website) and have tried to modify the following files to look the same and it still did not work.

/shop/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/ups.php
/shop/admin/modules.php
/shop/includes/modules/shipping/ups.php

After i mirrored these files and uploaded to 1.3.7, it totally wiped out the UPS module and the other shipping modules.

If someone can point me in the right direction on this UPS upgrade (all i need is for Worldwide Saver to work) i will love you forever!

That patch is for USPS not UPS.

Can you please tell me if there is an upgrade for just the UPS module to 1.3.8

There were several changes to the UPS Shipping module from v1.3.7 to v1.3.8a ...

You could download the current version and compare the files with something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com ...
