Custom Banners

Hello Zenners,

I did some research and I found out I am suppose to use Banner manager to create banners, but I have a image I want to use for the banner that I can not download and re-upload to my /CUSTOM/images/banners folder. So I am wondering if there is a way I can directly edit the Sponsors Side Box to include this code:

<a href="http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=16446011" target="_blank"><img src="http://banner.1and1.com/xml/banner?size=4%26%number=2" width="125" height="125" alt="Banner" border="0"/></a>
When I download that image and upload it again, it no longer functions properly, so I believe I have to hardwire this code rather than using Banner Manager.

Thanks in advance for all help!

Warm Regards,
Jason H.

Can't you paste the code you mention into the "banner URL" field in banner manager?

Re: Custom Banners

Yes you can but if its a HTML code, it will not keep track of views and clicks : [ Which I would love to track so I know how the outcome looks.
