How to put an image into the left column?

I'd like to move my sign.jpg logo from its current spot in the header to the top place in the left column, currently occupied by Search. My site is at http://www.medievalwares.com/zt/
Any suggestions?

Have a look at the "blank side box" module in the downloads area and enable it with a left top sort order...
