changing logo

Good afternoon Zenners.

I am working on my first cart. I have created a new template. I am struggling to change the the logo!! I have read the forum instructions on changing the logo, but they are not working. I have already successfully changed it once but my attempt today has resulted in it now it defaulting to

includes/templates/template_default/images/logo.gif

instead of includes/templates/my-template/images/logo.gif

Initially I did not change header.php (languages/english/my-teplate/header.php) but instead just changed the logo image name (logo.gif) in instaed of includes/templates/my-template/images/logo.gif

Hi Karen, have you told Zen Cart which Template to use in the admin?
If not its simple to do.

Go to Admin>Tools>Template Selection then find your template from there, once you switch the template it will change the image to the correct one.

Is your image called "header.gif" or logo.gif"? The name in header.php should match the name you gave your image.

But when I view source (from firefox) it's pulling the image above from default template/images not from my my-template/images.

I know this is going to sound really stoopid, but double check that your custom logo is in includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/images and that it's called logo.gif.
