mass changing expiry days on all products

Hi guys, I have a client using ZenCart who has several hundred downloadable products, all of which expire 7 days after purchasing. She now wants to change this to 14 days.

Is there an easy way to do this in Zencart without changing each product one by one? I can't seem to find anything on the forums about it.

If you are up on mysql DB's one could write a sql statement to change in mass
Or hire one to write one for you

If you want to change ALL Downloads that are 7 days to 14 days you can run the following SQL statement and this will be used on future orders ...

UPDATE products_attributes_download SET products_attributes_maxdays = 14 WHERE products_attributes_maxdays = 7;

NOTE: be sure to backup your database before running this SQL statement ...

This will only work on future orders and not existing orders? Is it difficult to change existing orders as well?

This would be very similar using:

UPDATE orders_products_download SET download_maxdays = 14 WHERE download_maxdays = 7;
