Canada post Module setting,please need Help

Please could someone help me to configure my Canada post shipping module?

I sell gift items weight let say 30 Grams, If I want to ship 12 Pecs it would be 360 Grams, plus packaging weight, would be around 450 Grams, If I want to ship in small box 16x16x16cm, the shipping cost in Canada for expedited parcel is around 9$, for international parcel, would be around 16 $, when I try to test my module, I get as example for Australia (Victoria) the amount shipping value of 98.60$????

P.S.: My maximum shipping weight would not exceed 3 Kg for Canada and USA, and 2Kg for International ,I don't want to add hanling fees.

As long as my box can handle weight, I can include as much as needed of units until my box reach let say 500 Grams, or whatever Canada Post allow as weight, I don't want the calculation to be made for each separate unit ,the following example will explain:

I have a product weight 30 g,
My client ordered 12 Pcs,

I will ship the 12 Pcs all together in one small box: 16x16x16, their weight would be 360 g; I will not ship 12 boxes size 16x16x16.

I want the calculation to be based on weight, not quantity of items.
( I unchecked "Ready to Ship" option in Zen Cart.)
Please help, I want to solve this riddle, Its my third month working on this project.

I tried kgs and lb, tried to enable and disable zone rates, when I get results of my calculation when zone rates is disabled, I get the calculation based on each item in a box, even when the check box is disabled for ready to ship in Zen Cart, and when I enable zone rates, I get the calculation by zone rate, and on top of the result, I get different shipping options based on X times number of items purchased in individual boxes.
It is really frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

Are you entering them in % of a lb??? LIke if you were to have a product that weighed 8 oz you would enter .5 for a weight. I learned that one the hard way

0.5 lb ,or whatever . The big issue also is what I said in my last post:

Where are these zone rates that you speak of???? I have had the CP mod installed on my site for over a two years now and do not know of where to set that.....

Ok, i see it now. I do not use this method tho so i wont be able to help you through that. Curious as to why you are using zones tho.....Do you use both USPS and Canada Post to ship???? I only use CP and it calculates for Can/USA or international.

I also do not add dimensions to the product descriptions as I was told once that doing so would bugger up the CP shipping prices.

I wish i could help more but you are in some unchartered waters for me

I disabled zones, I deleted the box dimensions, and , my problem is solved, many thanks, but, do you know how to disable Per Unit (Best Way) as shown in my attachment.
