USPS shipping module and paypal

Ok Im somewhat of a noob here. Heres the deal and my issues Im facing.

1. I setup the usps module i put my web tools Id in the box. I contacted usps to switch over to production server. They did. and when ever I go to the shipping estimator it does not show up. Or am I missing something? isnt there suppose to be an option for them to choose what type of shipping? I have flat rate and usps only installed under shipping modules.

2. I want when a customer come to order when there ready to check out with paypal or credit card it calculates the shipping first. then it charges them.

I'm in exactly same situation. New to zen cart. Just got acct with USPS and set up the USPS in admin control of Zen Cart. Went to store and clicked on pruduct, added to cart, clicked on shipping estimator and nothing. I used NYC zipcode 10001, click on update, and still nothing but the flat rate. No USPS ?

Actually ... suddenly Firefox Crashed! Then I tried again and it crashed again. Havn't got the IE7 to crash. I went back and FF didn't crash but USPS still not there?

Just checked out your store and can't find your USPS so assuming you yanked it off until you can figure out how USPS works with Zen Cart?

Please help ... yuall.... Need wisdom. (and what is machinable option? I set it to "true")

So sent email to USPS to switch from "test" to "production" server. Hope that will fix it.
