Dates on coupons?

Okay, I want to set up an April Fools Day coupon, to ONLY be valid from midnight 4/1 to midnight 4/2.

1. Beginning date is obvious, but should the ending date be 4/1 (the last day the coupon will be valid) or 4/2 (the first date that the coupon will be invalid)?

2. Does the coupon manager automatically change at midnight? If so, what time zone? I'm in MDT and so is my web hoster.

Anything I should watch out for? I've never set up a coupon in advance before, but my ongoing new-customer and posted-on-Yahoogroup coupons are both working fine.

Set the date to 04-04-2008 for both the start and ending date ... and it will work on April 1st only ...

To test this, try setting a private coupon for yourself to tomorrow's date and make sure it only works tomorrow ...

As to time zone this will be based on server time ...

April 4th? Not April 1st? Please tell me that was a typo, if I have to set coupon dates 3 days after the actual dates I want I'll quickly go crazy(ier).
