Removing New Products from categories

Hi,

I want to remove the NEW PRODUCTS box from the categories and main page and replace it with maybe a FEATURED box.

Is there a way to do this?

Go to Admin/Tools/Layout Boxes Controller You will see the option to turn off New Products and turn on Featured.
