we just got accepted for the authorize echeck program...
how would it work if we enable it in ZC? would it show somewhere when the order is placed, then keep it somewhere until it clears?
just want to know how it works before doing it.
thanks,
Eric

When you enable and configure the module, it'll show up as another payment option to choose from on the checkout_payment page.
When they fill in their details and complete checkout, the check information is sent to Authorize.net's eCheck processor. The order in Zen Cart is left in a "Pending" status.
After a few days (you can check with your account rep about how many days), the check will clear, and will show up in a reconciliation batch report which you can run in your Authorize.net account merchant admin area (on the authorize.net site).
When you see the order appear on that list it means the money has been collected ... so then you can go into your Zen Cart admin and change the order to Processing, and then fulfill and ship the order.
That's how it works presently.
