These side boxes are driving me mad - some will display and others won't.


Where are they supposed to be located ? By default I have a sideboxes folder in

includes/templates/default_template/sideboxes

and

includes/modules/sideboxes

so I'm confused there.

My template is called 'pebbles' and I have sideboxes folder

includes/modules/sideboxes/pebbles

as well as

includes/templates/pebbles/sideboxes


I can get search, subscribe to newsletter and the custom flyout categories list to appear but that's it - others I activate such as manufacturers simply don't appear on the front end.

Can someone please explain where I'm going wrong. Should I move all the default template stuff to mine ? or delete them? or should they be duplicated ? I'm assuming the system looks for items in my template and uses items in the default one if not found?
