Default NO ICON in Google Checkout

Had some other template issues, which I've undone.
I am having trouble with my google checkout now, though I have fixed the Security Error on login. I can't get my google icons to appear even though everything appears to be right in the console, and I've been through and verified that all of the files are in the right places. Has anyone had this problem where they just don't show up? I searched in the forums and saw lots of issues but none that matched mine. Any thoughts?

    You are still using sandbox..?
Are using correct version of GoogleCheckout mod
for zencart version you are using?
    Current template is Classic?
Settings are correct at Google Checkout Account admin page?
(This would be Sandbox account if that's what you are using now)
Did you run check, as per instructions
    i.e.
    3. Set the file attribute to 777 for /googlecheckout/logs/response_error.log and
    /googlecheckout/logs/response_message.log files.
    4. Go to http://<url-site-url>/googlecheckout...nsehandler.php
If you get a 'Invalid or not supported Message', 'Fail to get HTTP Authentication',
or a request for User and Password, go to the next section.
If you get any errors, you must correct all errors before proceeding.

Default NO ICON in Google Checkout

I re-installed zen cart, but before I did that google checkout was working great. After I deleted my server and started over, google checkout icons don't appear anymore. Please feel free to check it out.

Any advice you have would be much appreciated. The one item store that I created just loops back on itself once you get to the end of the checkout process. I can't understand why the google checkout icons aren't showing up. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? I am sure it's some small something that I haven't done that will fix this problem. THANKS!!!

Misty, you are right. Here's the issue, I found that page last night outlining the steps http://<yoursite>/blah blah but it asks me for a username and password and I've tried everything I can think of but can't come up with a combination that is right for the username and password. I think it's clear that I'm confused what that is even for. Please advise?

but it asks me for a username and password
If you are saying you get this at yourdomain/googlecheckout/
responsehandler.php, that is correct...you don't need to enter
username and password..just proceed to next set of instructions.

Yep, I get the request for username and password when I do that. However, everything is set up in Admin, and in sandbox mode, but I don't see any buttons for GC. The checkout process just loops back on itself and doesn't go anywhere. The only thing I can think of to do is to go delete GC on the server and reinstall it. However, I have done that and it didn't help, but maybe the second time's the charm right? Any other thoughts of what I might be doing wrong?

    At google... googlecheckout, sandbox account,
have you set up return zencart api url correctly.
However, if you do not see googlecheckout buttons
on your zencart website, sounds like not installed
    mod correctly.
You are sure you have downloaded and installed correct
    mod for your zencart version.

Alright, I even deleted the whole thing (even zen-cart) off the server and started fresh. I downloaded the latest versions, checked everything. I meticulously installed everything in accordance with the instructions.. Everything is done. And no icons anywhere to be found on my website for google checkout. What is the one silly stupid thing I am missing? I am so frustrated with this!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, are you saying that with a fresh site, using the default classic template, after adding Google Checkout, and configuring it for your account etc, that it's not activating for you?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Fresh everything.. Freshly downloaded, all the files put together where they should go, and nothing. I know it has to be one little tiny something that I've done wrong or overlooked, but for the life of me I have no idea what it might be.
