What is this column used for? It doesn't look like Easy Populate uses it, and I can't find any associated 'edit' field in the Zen Cart interface ('Edit Product,' for example)
Is the products_cost column available to be utilized?

That field is not part of a standard Zen Cart install.
It was added by an addon that you've installed.
Best to check your addons for the purpose behind said field..
