Is there anyway to check recent e-mails sent through Zen Cart e-mailing system?

Only if you enable Email Archiving in your Configuration->Email Options menu.
And, it has to be enabled before the emails are sent, if you want to go back and look at them.
To view them, use the addon in the downloads area "Email Archive Manager".
