    Default UPS calculation problem

    Hi All,

I am getting troubles with the UPS rates calculations: it looks as the given rates are too high and do not correspond to the official UPS site rates. My settings:

    1) Shipping/Packaging: USA, zip code 3765
    2) Shipping module: UPS

    Enable UPS Shipping
    True

    UPS Pickup Method
    CC

    UPS Packaging?
    CP

    Residential Delivery?
    RES

    Handling Fee
    0

    Tax Class
    --none--

    Tax Basis
    Shipping

    Shipping Zone
    --none--

    Sort order of display.
    0

    Shipping Methods:

    GND

Any ideas what settings I am missing here?

    Thanks

    A

I do not think so... I have

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:3

The actual weight is 1.07 lb, so it should be zero package weight

A different, probably some bug related issue. Could you please, have a look at

    Is that a valid zip?

What address & package details are you testing with?

You are saying take the products_weight 1.07 and add 3lbs to it for the Tare when using 0:3 for a total of 4.07 lbs ...

Yes, that is normal unless you have 2-way communication enabled.

I'm having the same problem with UPS not giving me the correct quotes. I have set handling fee to 0 and the tare settings all to 0 and UPS is not reflecting my prices on shipping. Is there a way to edit the UPS settings to access my UPS account and reflect the actual prices that UPS is quoting me?

Zen Cart quotes the regular UPS prices that UPS would give you if you were to ask for a quote on their website. It does not give special pricing.

If you want to get account-specific pricing, you'll need to use a 3rd-party module such as UPS XML ... you'll find a link to one in the 3rd-party section of the Zen Cart Wiki (see link in menu bar at top of forum)
