I had a problem last Friday and didn't get ANY mail from one of our Zen-Cart Sites, no Order Confirmations, No CC Numbers, Nothing.
I think I am getting some insight on this problem.
Our host is GoDaddy (don't start).
ZenCart is set up to use PHP mail.
We also use PHPList to send out about 2000 eMails a week. It seems with PHPList that after about 1200 - 1400 emails, it stops processing the queue with an error and will repeat over and over. If I pause the queue for a day or so, it works again.
I did a mail run last Thursday and Friday and mid day Friday the queue stopped with the same error. We also did not get any Cart Messages that day. after about mid day.
Here's my question:
Is there a way that GoDaddy might have a limit on the number
messages that we can send via PHP?
Is there a way around this?
Can I attempt to alter the effect we are getting with a statement in the php.ini?
I didn't think that 2000 eMail's a week at a rate of 100 messages per hour was excessive, but GoDaddy wants to sell me their mail list service too.
Any Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
