Moving a Column Box to a Center Box

I can't seem to make my NEW PRODUCTS box move from the side column to under the WEEKLY SPECIALS box on the main page. I would like the main page to have the new products and weekly specials in the center.

I tried using tools > layout boxes controller but I think (know!) I am in the wrong place.
Anyone help me

Have you tried just turning on the New Products centerbox?
