Could use some help big time

Hey guys Im new to Zen Cart and things seem so confusing... I tend to get lost uploading things from time to time even though i've read the tutorials from www.zen-cart.com. anyways to get to the main part of my thread.

I am wanting to have the "Currencies" drop down menu up in my top header for my page next to the search engine.... I downloaded a mod for it, but it didn't seem to work. The drop down menu is still stuck in the right column which is not where I want it.

Can someone take a look at my cart and tell me what coding I will need to use and in which files to accomplish this? Your help will be MUCH appreciated!!

Also any tips on how to learn/organize Zen-Cart in a speedily manner would be helpful as well.

Find where you have the code for div, id=currenciesContent, class=sideBoxContent centeredContent

Move it to your tpl_header.php file into the div for navMain or logoWrapper or?? depending on where you want it.

in what file will this line of code be located? :)

Try using the grep tool in the admin > tools > developers tool kit > and enter some text or look at your site "view source" in the browser and find a snppet of unique code and search for that

hmmm i've used the developer's toolkit and when i search for something it still tells me that there were no search results...

any idea?

Always try to use the minimum # of terms adding only to prune the list

admin > tools > developers toolk kit > last box on left enter "currencies" > search

Turns up many but as you are seeking the "Sidebox" code/file it also returns
/includes/modules/sideboxes/currencies.php
and
includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_currencies.php

the tpl is what you want and also your tpl_header.php

edit and place in your override folder and if it breaks remove and try again
