Add A-Z Filter dropdown to ALL products listing

Hi,
Would like to add the Alpha (A-Z) filter drop down box to the all products listing but are having trouble to get this to work. Has anyone been able to add this feature to these pages?
Any help much appreciated

Just in case anyone needs to do this in the future I was able to achieve a-z listing on all products by creating a new category (called a-z) and turned off the all products in admin. Used easy populate mod to assign all products to the category.
