Linking pages?

This site is a good example of what I am trying to do.

On the side he has collections. That is where I would want Candy Wrappers which I know how to get that part then when you click on collections a new page pops up and he has several links and I am wanting to do that. That is where I wanted my links for like All occasion, New baby,ect. and you can click on each link that will take you to its own page of the link that was clicked.

I hope I haven't confused you. I am very new to zencart and its harder to understand then I thought it would be.

Can you also tell me how to add a link to another site. I have my members forum I want to add but I don't know how to add links.
