Hi Everyone,
I've been struggling for DAYS trying to get my attributes to work right. I've tried everything possible and still can't get it to work.
Please attribute masters, help me!
Scenario:
Product A = $10
I have an attribute called "Borrow" (a checkbox) that I want to set the price to $0 if selected.
I have tried everything. One time offsets, quantity discounts, etc. The only thing I could get to work is actually modifying the price by -$10 if someone selects "borrow". This is lame though because that means I would have to set each product's attribute price deduction separately. I have thousands of products so I would prefer a solution that uses either a 100% discount or a 1 one time negative offset. So far no luck.
It seems to me that by setting a negative 1 one time offset (or even regular price offset) that that should work? But it doesn't, the price always comes out $10 no matter what. And yes, I have product priced by attributes set to on.
It seems to me that there has to be a simple way to make the price $0 no matter what the quantity is. All this power in attributes and it can't do this simple thing? There has to be a way!
Any suggestions? I'm desperate... way over budget and deadlines on this project. I'll sell my soul to anyone that can get this working for me please... any advice?
Thanks.
