i am new to zen cart... tried to install already 7 times but when loading admin page it says 'error on page' and does not load it correctly.
This is what i get:
i can not get into any category on page.
Please help asap

You did install it, but did not provide the correct information during the install.
In most cases the default pathways are fine and don't need you to edit them during the install.
Try it again, and don't enable ssl during the install.

I had the same problem, both with SSL enabled and without. I then realized that my secure webpage zen cart directory was missing some things. (it wasn't https://www.[site].com, it was https://www[number][site].com)
Since then, by going to the secure webpage link everything seems alright, but the regular site address does not automatically reroute to the SSL link and it's missing images and styling. (no errors)
Does anyone know how to set an htaccess file to reroute requests to an SSL enabled link?

Ok, I got it:
I think you'll need to put your secure site URL into both where the "normal" URL goes in the configuration and also where the two secure URLs go.
i still can not get this to work.
my website is www.cctv-import.co.uk/admin
if you log on to this you can see it is not appear correct on the screen.
any advise how i can change it ? this is a fresh installation.
