I get a HTTP 500 error when I'm checking out

Hi all,

I've been doing some alteration (minor) on my website layout. I've been doing this since yesterday, but I only found out about the following error today.

I get a HTTP 500 error when I'm checking out. The error occurs in the transition of
checkout_shipping --> checkout_payment

Now, I hav 2 languages installed, and the error only occurs in my english version of the site...
So I think there must be some kind of typo or so in my language files. I have transferred all the files starting with checkout_ in my languages-MyTremplate dir, form the working language into the english folder, but the problem remains.

jurjen, I went to the URL that you pm'd me, created an account, tried to checkout. I didn't get a HTTP error, I got a blank page.

That's weird.
I checked again:

The website cannot display the page 
 HTTP 500  
   Most likely causes:
The website is under maintenance. 
The website has a programming error. 
 
   What you can try: 
     Refresh the page. 
 
     Go back to the previous page. 
 
     More information

So, what does a blank page mean?

I have tested the checkout in multiple browsers, and IE gives the HTTP 500 error, while Safari and firefox give a blank page...

Hope someone can help me out.

If it's happening between checkout-shipping and checkout-payment, and only in one language, then you've probably got something mucked up in the language files you're using for the payment modules you have enabled.

Hmm, I found the file that was corrupt.
It was in a module in my order_total. Should be a define file, but it was code... So I must have uploaded that file incorrectly.
