I use zencart since version 1.2.7... Now I'm installing a 1.3.8 for a friend that he wants to customize to meet his needs

some of this customization are quiet fast, but one of them needs more attention: I developed an additional groups management, similar to categories architecture... if a customer is linked to a group he gains rights on all groups under the linked one.
Products can also be linked to groups...
so the questions is: is there a fast method on filtering engine to show to customers only products linked to the same customer group?
