Single Product Store

My store will only have one product and I would like the product detail page to be the main page of the store. So when you hit the link /store it goes directly to the product detail page.

I know it does this if you put a product into the admin not in a category, but I also know that doing that can cause zen cart to not work properly. So I created a category and put my one product in.

So my question is, is there a way to do this from some settings in the admin, or do I need to just redirect the main store page to the product details page?

Thee's a switch in Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings - Skip 1 prod Categories that I think will send the visitor right to the Product Info page when the category is opened.

And then Main Page Opens with Category to the category id#.

I think that'll work.

I do have that set, but the problem is that you still have to have a main page where they choose the category.

I would like to bypass that if possible, and without having to just have my "store" link go to the category page, or the product page...

Set it up and post your url to it and we will get you where you have stated you want to be.

Set these to "1" - set the categories side box to off - others after you post your site
admin > config > layout settings > Categories - Always Show on Main Page and Main Page - Opens with Category
