How to create groups for distributor?

We need to create a different log in for my distributors and customers who have an open account with us. The only difference is they will not pay via credit card we will bill them by mail, and some will have access to different products that I dont usually offer to the public.

I spent a lot of time trying to accomplish something like this, and failed. I ended up creating a separate Zencart website for commercial customers.

Take a look at the "Invoice" contribution for your billing requirement.

Take a look at the "Hide Categories" contribution for your wholesale-only products.

Invoice mod works great on my site! But hideCategories seems to be not what I need. What I wanted to happen is to allow only certain groups to see a hidden category.

anyone can help?

one thing more: I need a a separate group discount.

Group A = 25% discount on category 1 and 10% discount on category 2
Group B = 30% discount on category 1 and 10% discount on category 2
