    Default Paypal - money comes in but customer doesn't get product

    Hello all,

    My catalog at: www.3buckaudio.com/catalog is working fine if someone uses a gift certificate or a coupon. I am selling downloadable products.

    But when they pay by paypal, there is an issue:

    The money comes into my paypal account correctly.
    But no order is processed. So they don't get a download link.
    I receive no order to MY email.
    No order appears on the order history in my admin panel.

    ** It happens every time (not an isolated incident)**


    Is there a thread here where someone else has incurred the same problem?

    I have been unable to locate one.

    the first thing you need to check is that the email address used in your zen cart paypal payment mod matches the main email address in paypal.com

    you cna check this by going to www.paypal.com
    logging in then hit profiles -> email

    make sure that you are using the email address that says PRIMARY next to it and that its case =

    Red red and RED are not equal

    It's bang-on identical. All lower case - and every letter is correct.

    In paypal I only one email address on the account.

    Since the funds do arrive into my paypal account I didn't think that could be the problem.

    In paypal the auto-return URL is set as recommended in the admin panel. However it might be worthwhile to note that I also use this paypal account for my other sites which are not running ZC.

    Do you have the IPN URL entered in your PayPal account? What version of Zen Cart are you running?
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

    Yes I have the return url entered. Will it work if I remove it?

    The version is :

    Zen Cart 1.3.5

    Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

    v1.3.7 [2007-02-17 08:48:55] (Fresh Installation)

    You appear to have a partially upgraded Zen Cart ...

    The versions should all match and you are showing v1.3.5 and v1.3.7 ...

    How did you do this upgrade?

    Issue resolved. Updated the payment modules with the patches for PayPal checkout IPN and Express (I'm using v1.3.7) and it works wonderfully now. Simply amazing and I am proud, I figured it out on my own (ok ok, I searched the error msgs in here too, but I updated alone, this is a first for me!).
