Default Only allowing users to access one item

Currently, I have my site set up so that there is one item in a category and the main page is set to display that category without any means of navigating to the other categories that I have. The problem is that if someone bookmarks my site, they will essentially be bookmarking the item that I'm showing for that day. Also, someone could just start changing the product ID number in the url to navigate to the other products.

Does anyone know of a clever way to allow access to only one product?

Set the other products to Out of Stock ... products_status = 0

    You cannot force viewing a product with products_status = 0 ...
