tony
right first an appology with the lack of sleep and many hours trying to sus this i got a bit stressed,
i have taken a few steps back and retried
i have created
includes/templates/CUSTOM/IMAGES
and i uploaded my image in there (header11)
i went in
includes/templates/classic/stylesheet.css
and this is what i know have
#logoWrapper{
background-image: url(../images/header11.JPG);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: #ffffff;
height:75px;
}
but my header is now blank.
come on then what have i done.
tony
the image type is still text/x-generic
anyone see anything wrong?
I'm new too but I was able to change mine quite easily. Just go to:
/ public_html / includes / templates / classic / images /
Then you will see header_bg.jpg
You must save your new image the exact same name and over ride it when you upload to the same place.
If you're image is bigger I have no idea how to change that, lol, that's actually why I'm on here tonight.

I really appreciate you taking the time to reply fer but it was advised strongly not to do that and to do it via the overide system as in the case of future updates it could muck things up a bit but if i get no joy i think i will be forced to do it that way.
