red flag Has a global Securepay issue arrised?

Two of my store's Securepay mods have stopped working independently. Has anyone else had this problem just come up? Getting this error message "There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again." and nothing gets sent to securepay. We've been down for two days now, HELP!

Maybe you should be talking to SecurePay directly? That would seem like a better way to spend your time. Zen Cart has no control over the SecurePay systems.

No information is leaving Zencart. Securpay is not getting a handshake with ZC. I am on the phone right now with GoDaddy, I had 6 stores go down on 3 different Godaddy accounts. Looks like Godaddy might have changed something that breaks the communication between ZC and Securepay.

Well, Kimber the friendly customer service rep at Godaddy, just informed me that just recently Payment gateways had to do away with allowing curl by proxy server requests. Godaddy couldn't tell me how to fix it, but they said it was some custom coding to remove the use of curl by proxy. They also couldn't tell me waht address needs to be in there.

This has to be happening to other ZC owners out there... It is happening to me on there different securepay accounts, and three different godaddy accounts. I can programme my ######## off in code but I am not to familiar with curl and proxy thingy ma chigs... Help! I have people mad!

Well here is the fix for you all... once you realize you need it fixed.

Goto configuration -> My Store and set 'cURL Proxy Status' to FALSE. 11 hours of my life to figure that out!

your welcome everyone... glad I could fix something I know others are going to have problems with.

The GoDaddy issue with CURL and proxies is several years old, and has caused countless headaches with hundreds of Zen Cart merchants who selected GoDaddy as their hosting provider.

The issue with sloppy hosting provided by GoDaddy is decades old.
Sorry that you're stuck with such inferior hosting.
