Date Attribute

It seems to have been asked several times before, but I can't find an answer on how to do it . . .

One of my categories of products need a start date, therefore . . .

Is it possible to have a date attribute where either a pop up calendar appears, or even just line up three attributes on the same line so it looks clean?

Other solution would be to have example text in the text field that disappears when the customer clicks.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just a thought - Zen Cart already has this feature built in somewhere as it requests a date for specials with a pop up calendar.

Anyone know how this can be used elsewhere???

Lots of "wish-list" requests for a "spiffy-cal" attribute...

... hopefully in the new version (issued by Dec 2008) the dev team would have had the time to include it! (hint, hint !)

I would just like to add myself to the list of people looking for a "date start" and "date end" attribute.

Has anybody managed to achieve this yet?
