Problems installing Easy populate Advanced

I am using version 1.3.9b and have installed easy populate as instructed. It does not show up in my admin panel at all. Tried a couple times so far and nothing works. Any suggestions??

I am on ZenCart Version 1.3.9f and I read in the Zencart Builder store that the EPA 3.0.3 works with versions 1.2.4 through to current (1.3.8).

I emailed them asking them if it had been updated and tested to be working with 1.3.9f, but I have not received an answer - I sent that email maybe a week and a half ago.

I have read a few people have been having problems, so I am afraid of buying the program. I need to see some more information of people resolving their issues before I jump on it :)

That version is old as heck 2 or 3 years. Look in the downloads area listed above on this page to see if you can find something that fits your need for free.

Each is basically the same with slightly different uses. Plus all are supported online here pretty well so problems always seem to get fixed.

Easy Populate Advanced work with Zen Cart 1,39 with no problems. I have it working on 4 Zen Cart 1.39 stores everything works.

Easy Populate doesn't override any Zen Cart files so most of the updated files don't affect the easy populate advanced.

Even though it is 3 years old I am yet to find a better version in managing large database (200K parts). It is also very easy to edit if you know your basic Zen Cart structure or create additional export files for Bing or any other Shopping Sites.

You can also export based on product_id not just model_id which is very helpful if you have multiple parts with the same model_id.

There is no longer support for the advanced version, last I heard the developer was having health issues. But the software is perfect the way it is so no need to fix something that isn't broken.

Look in the free section thread there are thousands of posts. Which might mean that it is not so perfect. If it was perfect then there would be no need for all that support.

Nothing against the free version but it just doesn't do quite as much as the paid one.

There is a software called "Store Manager for Zencart" by a company called MagneticOne.com who are based out of Ukraine. I do have some Ukrainian programmer friends here in the US who are wizards in programming, really smart guys.

The company sells their product for $149. I downloaded their Demo version - looks nice but haven't played with it yet.

Does anyone have an opinion about this software - has anyone used it?

I tried it years ago but if possible stair away from magnetic modules as they require a lot of server configuration to make them work and each module will download ton of files and folders on the server.

I didn't find any advantages in the Store Manager, or any commands that can't be done in EPA.
