Default Help with securing site (SSL)

Hi y'all!! Ok so I bought my dedicated SSL certificate from my hosting company, and it is successfully installed. My site works if you manually type https:// before the site name....although my images are gone. I have followed the instructions and set the 2 configure files to true. I guess my question is 2 part. How do I get my images to work on the https:// side, and why isn't my cart secure??? Thanks so much!!

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
