Hi Obe1,
Thank you for all of your help, but I gave up and decided to switch back to OSCommerce. Thanks anyway!

OSC!!!
But to each their own. I does not make any sense whatsoever that you can get OSC to work on your provider using the exact same root directory and path, but not ZC. OCS is sooooooooooooo archaic, doesn't even have half of the plug-ins (that are fully functional and not someone's half baked forgotten about module full of bugs). Well, I wish you the best and that you would reconsider.
best of luck

Yeah, it's the oddest thing... oh well![]()
a simpler solution would be to install ZC brand new, then move your template files in and then drop the database and insert your current backup from the old setup
If you need help doing this let me know, will see what I can do to help out
Long time no see Tony, glad to see you still around. Hope all is well and maybe we can convince cosmeticsnbags to come back
See ya around...

cosmeticsnbags, I'm trying to install Zen Cart on a startlogic server too. I noticed you have:
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.cosmeticsnbags.com');
in my startlogic control panel it tells me my SSL is:
https://username.startlogic.com
I wonder if that's your problem?
BTW, do you have Google Checkout with your osC? I'm having a hard time with it and wondered if it was a startlogic issue or not... I get a lot of errors in google checkout's "Tools" > "Integration Console": javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException
thanks,
~Danny
hey Obe1,
I had the same issue, but found a solution for it. Here is the steps:
1. Login to your cpanel
2. Go down to table Scripting and Add-Ons
3. click on CGI and Scripted Language Support
4. Then their is submit button(i did this a while back so im not sure if it is submit or something else, but the point is their is one button their click on it)
After that you should be able to start the process of setting up your zen cart.
If you have any problems doing this step let me know.
Thanks =)
