Prices Wrong in Zencart but not on TAB Delimited File

I am populating with Easy Populate 1.2.5.4 in Zen Cart v1.3.8a. On the tab delimited file the prices are right however when I import them the price is much lower then what its suppose to be. I am splitting the file with it as well.

Example a product in file is $53.90 and shows up on my site as $49.68. USD is selected at my only currency and is default and set to 1.00000. English is my default language as well.

Can someone please help me get rid of this frustration. Thanks

That scale of discrepancy sounds like the price is being read at import as if it were including tax, and output as excluding tax. I don't know anything about the workings of easypopulate, but you might check into things that could be related to tax both in that and in admin.

I use Easy Populate Advanced so I assume they look almost the same. Is your column header for the price: v_products_price - if so, then the program is uploading the price correctly. It most likely is what gjh42 said about the tax. Make sure your Admin configuration is set to show price without tax. If it's set to show with tax then any price you upload with Easy Populate will automatically show as higher, with the tax added.

My admin is set to show prices without tax. I'm using version 1.3.8

Is there any way to get my invoices to ONLY show the Price (ex) and Total (ex) columns on the invoices and NOT the Tax AND Price (inc) AND Total (inc) columns also?

If not, and someone could at least let me know that it's not possible, that would be very helpful, too, since I've spent the last several days looking for a solution

Look at your CURRENCY settings in the admin panel. If the default is US$, make sure its value is set to 1.000000

... and in EasyPop... if you configure your pricing EXCL tax, then v_tax_class_title MUST be set to the same NAME as your configured tax class... probably "Taxable Goods" - which is case sensitive.

If you show prices INCLUSIVE of tax (no ZC calculation for tax) then the default setting for v_tax_class_title is: --none--
