Feature Product Vs. New Product

Hello,
I'm wondering has anyone came across below situation:
I have the same product shows in Feature Product and New Product for [Month] on center column.
Please advise how can I control to have 1 product to show either in Feature or New Product Box.
PS: I've tried different combinations by turning on/ off in All listing, Layout, Index list, etc. in Admin, but no luck.
I used the latest Zen Cart version with Apple Zen template

If a featured product was added to inventory within the time threshold you setup in admin for new products, it's going to appear in both. I don't think there is an admin setting to prevent that.

So I guess New product Box is not appliable in this case.
Please advise how to use "Customer Also Purchased" feature. Is is an add-on?

Yes, it's an add-on. It's called upsell or cross sell, something like that.

Actually, there is a built in Customer Also Purchased based on Products ordered together ... look in the Configuration ... Product Info ...

Also Purchased Products Columns per Row

0= off or set the sort order

NOTE: orders must be made with Products at the same time for this to show ...
