Simple Approach?

Hiya,

Is there a simple approach to taking payment for things on the zencart website. For example instead of forcing everyone to sign up to paypal or google checkout etc... for them to simply type in their card details which get approved online. i.e. a user selects their card type, inputs all the credentials, these are verified by the relevant banks and so on. Most other sites that I shop on have these options and dont force you to use paypal to buy your goods. Just wondered what is stopping something like this being used with Zencart?

well this is available,

there is a stock cc module that will present you with the number to type into a terminal,

there are also gateway modules that you can turn on for authorize.net and linkpoint.


these will let the user add their cc info on your site, and then send it to the gateway

customer never leaves your site,

thanks for your help mate. I found the module to store numbers for them to process offline with their own bank terminal but not a live online one. I take it there are costs associated with the live verifying option for things like Visa and Barclaycard, Amex etc...?

Yes in the zen cart admin you will see 2 modules
authorize.net and linkpoint,

bothof these will connect to their respective gateways, and yes there are fees associated with this

discount fees, transaction fees administration fees etc.......


if you look in the partners page you will see several merchant account options
